As part of the wider Bharat Innovates 2026 programme and the India–France Year of Innovation, Athena GESDA participated in an exclusive strategic engagement bringing together senior leaders from government, industry, innovation and higher education.

Hosted on the French Riviera by the former Solicitor General of India and Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Delhi, the gathering provided an opportunity for high-level discussions on innovation, international collaboration and the future of global partnerships between India and Europe.

The event brought together distinguished guests, including the Mayor of Nice and senior representatives from the Government of India, creating a unique platform for dialogue on strengthening connections between education, industry and economic development.

These conversations reinforced the growing importance of international collaboration in driving innovation, talent development and cross-border partnerships. For universities and institutions seeking to establish meaningful engagement in India, such forums provide valuable opportunities to connect with influential stakeholders and explore new avenues for collaboration, research and student mobility.

Athena GESDA was pleased to contribute to these discussions and continue building relationships that support long-term partnerships between higher education institutions, industry leaders and government stakeholders across India and Europe.
