Purpose

To support students and parents in developing a well-informed and realistic understanding of the international higher education landscape, with an analysis of most popular study destinations, enabling responsible and confident decision-making regarding global study pathways. The programme goes beyond introducing universities and courses. It helps students and families understand the broader academic, cultural, economic, visa systems and career context of studying internationally, ensuring they develop a clear picture of the opportunities and expectations associated with global higher education.

Selected sessions within the Student and Parent Engagement Programme may also be delivered in collaboration with key organisations within the higher education ecosystem. These may include participation from UCAS, the British Council, and representatives from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), providing authoritative guidance on university admissions processes, student visa regulations, and the wider higher education landscape.
